Here is my message for our AG lurkers: Please, please, please don't mess up or change Ruthie!!!!! She should look just like her photo in the Family & Friends section of Kit's books: brown or auburn wavy no bangs hair just past her shoulders, brown eyes and that little yellow and purple dress. She's also going to need a LIGHT PINK (not Barbie pink) princess dress and her winter coat/hat set (just like in the pictures at the soup kitchen, please!).

And please no more cheap plastic black Mary Janes like the ones that come on Nellie, Samantha and Molly-- those make me puke! With the quality of the other shoes AG produces, there is just no excuse for these. Please don't put them on Ruthie (or Emily or anyone else for that matter!).

I had to post again because Aunt Cornelia gave me a great idea with her Christmas tree request. So here it is...

Make a bare, AG-sized Christmas tree - just the tree, no lights or anything - available by itself. Then make sets of decorations and things for each of the historical girls (well, the ones who would have had a Christmas tree) that reflects the decorations of the time period! Molly would have her patriotic and home-made ornaments, Samantha would have her pretty Victorian ornaments, etc. Also, there could be a modern set of decorations for the AGTs. Wouldn't that be the coolest thing ever?

Lol, well, at least I think so, but then again, you always think your own ideas are cool, huh?

I agree with everything everybody is saying, but I have to add one more thing...

<font size="8">A AGP for the middle of the U.S.!!!</font>
I looked on mapquest and it would take the same amount of time (14 hours) to get from here to LA or from here to Chicago so PLEASE make a AGP for mid U.S. (Coloardo maybe? )

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Where else would we get shoes to put on the dolls we sell on ebay? That's the ONLY place those cheap suckers go with me, away as a "bonus" to auctions.

And I will add my vote: I WANT AN ASIAN LE(or historical)!!!!!!!!!

I would love to see programs like you used to have in Williamsburg for Felicity, and Sam was in several areas for tea too I think. It would be great for the girls growing up now to experience these cool programs. I know WIlliamsburg canceled their program several years ago, not AG, but since there is so much new with Felicity now, it would be a good time to try it again I think.

I would love to see a 20th anniversary doll from the 80's. I like the suggestions many of you have had for a Pilgrim doll and several of the others. I also think it would be a neat idea to have a LE that has a sibling that is "different" somehow and how they deal with it. I have many friends who have children with special needs and I know that their siblings would like to read about a character who has to deal with differences too...it would also be good for other kids to read and maybe help them understand it is OK to be different too. If anyone can approach this subject and do it well, it would be AG.

There have been so many good ideas already. I will thow out my favorites and a couple of my own.

1. a historical doll from the 50's, possibly from Hawaii when it was first becoming a state
2. a historical doll from the 80's
3. complete collections for all of the historical dolls, not half collections like Kaya and Kit
4. Scenes & Settings
5. Frequent buyers club or some way where adult collectors can earn and spend stars.
6. a historical pilgrim doll
7. a complete catalog or complete catalogs for each historical doll
8. Samantha's black button up boots

I agree with most everything said here.

Samantha needs those ALL BLACK high button boots. Never understood why there's the black and white ones, but not plain black.

I'd like to see a winter set. This came up in another post a few days ago. With snowballs, and a snow fort, and a lot of other winter fun stuff. As I'm in Southern Arizona, this would be the closest to snow I've been in to in years.

An AGP in Florida would be a perfect way to round out the AGPs. Florida, like LA and NY, have HUGE amounts of tourists, and would make a wonderful place for a store. I really think 4 is more than enough, and in those four states, I think they would be very well spread out.

Asian doll. Don't care if she's an LE or a historical, but I think most of us would deffinitly prefer historical. But, an LE would be better than what's available now, just the one, who I feel looks "smirk-y".

Separates!!!!! That's what I most want to see. $10 doll jeans, $8 sweaters, $6 cotton t-shirts, $8 shoes, $10 hoodie sweatshirts, $2-$3 for a doll bracelet or necklace, etc. And everything in solid colors or very simple patterns that could be mixed around easily.

More dolls with "normal" green eyes. The color of AGT21's eyes are perfect, so very close to my eye color (which is an olive green), I'd love to see a doll with those eyes and long brown hair. And a doll with dark hair and violet eyes. And some different shades of red hair, Felicity's brown-red and Nellie's blonde-red don't cut it for this red-hair lover! Also, do keep making dolls without bangs, but don't stop using them alltogether. There should be a few modern girls with modern bangs, like Nellie's, thin and whispy.

New books for the historicals, maybe 5 years later, when they're about 15. This would not only keep the interest of little girls for a longer amount of time, but it would also pull in the older girls where the company has failed in previous years (AG Minis and Girls of Many Lands). While the mystery books are nice, they ones that have already come out aren't so much for forwarding the girls' stories, but are more about a weeks' worth of their lives. I'd like to see the books written by the original author whenever possible. And make new outfits to go with these stories!

Something similar to the club, but for older girls and adults. Whether it's just a reward program, or a 5% discout at the price of $20 a year, or frequent buyers, anything. AG knows how many older fans they are, why not award us with something (especially those of us who have been fans since they WERE 8, we should get something for our loyalty all these years).

As a small 19 year old, I, myself, would also like to see the historical girl sized clothing come back. I know I'd fit in the large sized items, and for some reason, I'd love to have a matching outfit, even if I just wore it around the house. But, the $100+ that they originally cost was a bit much. I'm sure the quality was worth it, but for a college girl who would die of embarassment if she was ever seen with it on, or even for a parent who's daughter will probably only get 1-2 years of wear out of it, that seems like quite a lot.

A CUTE cat. Kirsten's kittens, and Marisol's cat, uuugly. I would buy a cute cat in a heartbeat. I don't know who's designing the pets, but none of them look real, sure some of them are cute, but they all look cartoony. Also, I'd love to see a "big" dog, like a St Bernard!

And while I don't have any problems with the friend dolls continuing for another 3 or 4 years (don't know about 6, though!) do make sure there's a brand new historical girl at SOME POINT. Another 6 year wait would be terrible, it's already been 3 since Kaya came out.

An 80s doll as an LE, not a historical. Nobody hates the 80s. And those who do only hate it because they're embarassed they wore those awesome fashion trends when they were popular. But, the 80s are so "in" now, it would be a nice way to make a fun, different doll, and make a killing!

That's "all" I can think of right now....

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I totally second this idea! It would be so much fun to explore all the different holiday traditions of the various time periods! Like Kirsten's Lucia celebration with all of the Jul-Tompten stuff and the Jul Log and little swedish ornaments, and Josefina's Feast of the Three Kings celebration... Felicity's 12th night cake and fruit towers and things would be wonderful to say the least!!

I agree that there should be a pilgrim doll, and i'd love to see an Indian-American Hindu doll with saris and things as well.

Add the rest of the EU countries to the shipping list, not just UK.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">YES!!!!!!!!!!! I you do only one thing, this should be it, you could make so much money without really spending any (seems to go along with Mattel's philosophy )
